Rachel comes to Taproot Foundation with a background in public-private partnerships, pro-bono consulting programs and sales. She brings a passion for connecting the non-profit and private sectors to positively impact social causes. As a Consultant on Taproot’s Advisory Services practice, she partners with corporations to design, implement and scale high-quality pro bono initiatives that move the needle on today’s most pressing social challenges.
Prior to Taproot, Rachel worked for Pfizer Inc managing pro-bono consulting programs, partnerships and sales to deliver medical products for use in aid programs in developing countries. Rachel developed a passion for engaging people in social causes through her work at Oxfam America, where she was able to see first-hand the impact that lending one’s skills and resources can have on people around the world.
Rachel has a BS in psychology from Boston University, a Masters in Global Affairs from New York University, where she concentrated in the private sector’s role in development initiatives, and a Certificate in Management of Community Organizations from Tufts University.
