Having studied English Literature and French at University, Jennifer spent several years travelling and teaching English to adult language learners and tertiary students. She then completed a Master of Education, Graduate Diploma of Education in TESOL and a Master of Divinity and worked with refugee and asylum seekers in Australia, teaching community English classes. Realising there was significant interest from companies to connect with community programmes but lack of expertise and time to find ways to give and volunteer, Jennifer started Resonate Consulting in 2014 to bridge this gap. Since then Resonate has facilitated numerous corporate events, workshops and volunteer placements between corporates and NFPs domestically. In 2017, Resonate hosted the Asia-Pacific Pro Bono Summit in Sydney Australia attended by international members of the Global Pro Bono Network, Australian companies and NGOs. In 2018, she left Resonate Consulting in the hands of her team in Australia and moved to London. She now works with VSO, the leading global international development organisation working through volunteers. She is a manager within the Private Sector Partnerships team at VSO, with focus on new business development and communications. Jennifer has a passion and desire to see more companies work transformationally with civil society organisations to address inequality, poverty and to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
